Who may review
A review must describe the reviewer’s genuine, first-hand experience with the named business. The reviewer must provide a working email address for verification and must not be the business, its staff/family/agent, a competitor acting dishonestly, or anyone paid or rewarded to manipulate sentiment.
What we publish
We may publish the display name, broad area, rating, review text, date and a “verified email” or “verified customer” label only where the stated verification was actually completed. Email verification proves control of an address, not that work occurred. A “verified customer” label requires evidence reasonably connecting the reviewer to the transaction or an enquiry routed by us; its meaning will be displayed.
Prohibited content
No fabricated experience, threats, hate/discrimination, harassment, obscenity, advertising, irrelevant content, malware, private contact/financial/health information, impersonation, copyright infringement or allegations presented recklessly as fact. Reviews should focus on the service received.
Moderation
We use reasonable and proportionate measures to prevent, detect, investigate and remove fake or misleading reviews. This may include email verification, form/security signals, duplicate/pattern checks, enquiry matching, evidence requests, human review and post-publication monitoring. We do not promise that every review is true. Positive and negative reviews use the same criteria. Payment, advertising and business pressure do not determine publication.
We may reject, delay, redact personal data, request clarification/evidence, or remove a review. We will not materially rewrite its meaning or convert a negative review into a positive one. Incentivised reviews, if ever allowed, must be unbiased and clearly labelled; selective incentives for positive reviews are prohibited.
Challenges and responses
A business may post a professional response or challenge a review with specific evidence. Disagreement alone is not grounds for removal. We may temporarily restrict content during a credible legal, safety, privacy or authenticity investigation. Reviewers may be contacted for evidence. We keep a moderation record and provide a proportionate reconsideration route.
